The UO2(VI) and Th(IV) complexes with 4-N-(metaphenoxybenzylidene) aminoantiipyrine and 2-N-(metaphenoxybenzylidene)furfurylamine have been synthesized and characterized by physicochemical data. Ligands behave as bidentate towards the metal ions. The integrated ligands and their metal complexes were subjected to antifungal studies. These studies demonstrated the enhanced activity of metal complexes with respect to Schiff bases.
