Correlation between Average Inter-Atomic Distance and the Thermal Properties of A^IB^IIIC₂^VI Chalcopyrite Crystal Structured Solids

A striking inter-relation has been evolved for heats of formation determination of ternary chalcopyrite of the type A^IB^IIIC₂^VI. The proposed relation is derived in terms of average inter-atomic distance and melting temperature. A discussion has also been presented among the heats of formation, average inter-atomic distance and melting temperature of these compounds.
